V, nah. To work there I need to be in the Houston area. At this time, that is not in the cards for me. I will say though, there are a bunch of cool things coming up from said companies. Fans will be happy with what they are doing and what they have in store. :)

I am very sorry to see you go, but I know life has good things in store for you. You and this wonderful blog will be missed though. This was a great source of information and I thank you for all of the hard work and effort that you put into it. Beautiful job! It's very sad to see you retire. But since Sentai Filmworks and Section23 Films seem to be able to open themselves up to the fans now, I do think this is as good as time as any for you to do what you must do in your real life. We all wish you luck, both in Real Life and whatever your next project online is. Just make sure you show up online every once in awhile ok? Good luck, and remember, I'm hearing the GTO song play right now in my mind! I'm not sure what that means, but it's playing! Must be a good thing.

I am openly surprised Tiffany Grant wasn't used...I wonder if she will be attached to some of the other new English dubs by Section 23

Also curious is that David and Janice Williams are *not* going to go to Anime Boston this year, apparently; they ran ADV panels there the last 2 years (and more) so it would be nice that they just now have actual English dub news again.

About time. I'm glad to see that they are actually doing this. I don't know what to do with my Clannad 1 subtitled DVD now though. Well, it'll be a while until this is released on DVD anyway though.

I'm fairly certain that everyone was cast appropriately but there's always that chance that something didn't go right. Sentai is/was a part ADV after all.

Overall, it should be fine and I think this will be great.

That would seem to explain why the Williams, formerly the heads of ADV's new acquisitions "Black Ops" as they like to put it) are now working for "Sentai" specifically.

No one really knows. The general knowledge based on the facts at hand is Aesir only has control of the old ADV label properties. Sentai handles new licenses.

What is the difference between when Sentai is the "publisher" and when Aesir is the "publisher"? (is there a functional difference betweeen the..."role" that Sentai and Aesir perform?

Published is the license holder, distributed is the distributor (handles distribution, sales and marketing).
